Executive Authority Wedge · For Founders, CEOs, and Experts
And for anyone who wants their name to carry weight in public — the book, the keynote, the paper, the podcast. For people who'd rather hold a defensible position than chase the next trend.
What you walk away with
One position to test everything against. Every post, talk, deck, and opportunity based on the same question: does this sharpen the position, or blur it? The second-guessing stops.
A consistent story across every surface. Your site, your LinkedIn, and your sales deck stop contradicting each other. The market finally hears a single, decided point of view — and trusts it.
The one thing AI can't commoditize. When everyone's output sounds the same, buyers fall back on the person they understand and believe. A decided position is the edge that gets you noticed.
A strategic decision, not more content. You're not buying a ghostwriter, a follower count, or a personal-brand makeover. You're buying the clarity everything downstream gets built on.
When AI makes everybody sound the same, your strategic voice and position is the only moat left.
Your Authority Wedge is the one position you can credibly own that no one else is occupying. You've already earned it in the work. My job is to sharpen it — and to give you the specific point of view that is defensible and makes you worth listening to.
Every asset built on a fuzzy position is an asset you'll pay to redo. Decide first, build once.
The work was good enough that you never had to explain it
You built something that sold itself — referrals, reputation, and you delivered results. Then you scaled, and the position that lived in your head had to travel: to a website, a sales team, a leader with a public profile. The site says one thing, your LinkedIn says another, the deck splits the difference — three positions, and a market that trusts none of them.
Timing matters
As AI makes everybody sound the same, buyers fall back on trust. People trust other people more than they trust businesses, so they choose the company whose Founder or CEO they understand and believe. Someone with a clear, decided position is the edge AI can't commoditize.
Your Authority Wedge
The Authority Wedge isn't a tagline, a bio rewrite, or a personal-brand makeover. It's the kernel: the single, defensible position your evidence already supports but your category hasn't claimed. Once it's named, every decision, every post, every talk, every opportunity has one thing to test against. You provide a clear position that is defensible and consistent.
I don't manufacture it. The authority is already yours. What's missing is the decision and the discipline to hold it. That's what we sharpen together through my strategic positioning methodology.
The Method
I don't run a workshop and write down what you hope is true. I find your Wedge in the evidence: not the aspiration, what you can defend, what your record proves, what the people who've relied on you actually say, and where your category's left ground unclaimed. I weigh those against each other, because any one of them alone is flattery. What holds up across all of it which is credibly yours, and unoccupied, is your Wedge.
Two tiers:
The Executive Authority Wedge
The full read. I work your authority across the whole system. You leave with your Wedge, your Spine, and an activation kit that turns both into how you show up in the market and in public. Strategy across the whole system and your specific position. $25K.
The Domain Decision.
Some founders hold several credible surfaces at once such as a company, a public point of view, an adjacent practice, and they have never been forced to choose. The Domain Decision settles which one is load-bearing, how the others relate, and where the open ground is. Timeline is about a week. You leave knowing which surface to build and why. With a firm decision and a directional read, the Wedge engagement then sharpens into your actual position. $5K, with $2,500 credited toward the Wedge if you move to the Wedge within 75 days.
Built on myself first, in public
I ran this method on myself before any client saw it, and I document the build in public. The whole messy process: gaps caught, decisions made, the work shown rather than the polished result. The method is the intellectual property; the public build is the proof. Follow the build
Who it's for — and who it isn't
FOR
Founders, CEOs, and Experts whose authority hasn't caught up to their work. Your product is getting harder to tell apart from your competitors. You're past the scrappy stage, and what you say in public now shapes whether buyers trust you or not.
NOT FOR
Anyone who wants to be an influencer on social media more than having an authority position. This is not about acquiring followers, it’s about being a thought leader.
